All state public libraries and library support offices will be closed Saturday through Monday in observance of Independence Day, the Hawaii State Public Library System announced.
Makawao Public Library, which is typically open on Saturday, will have special hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. To contact the Makawao branch, call (808) 573-8785.
