Ryan Reynolds would really appreciate it if people stopped partying amid a global pandemic! The actor took to his Twitter account to share an audio recording in which he was pleading with youngsters in British Columbia to press pause on their partying since there is such a dangerous and easy to spread virus out there!
His post was, in fact, in response to B.C. Premier John Horgan asking him, but also Seth Rogen, to use their voices and influence to encourage young people out there to remain inside as much as possible as the world still deals with COVID-19.
And so, as expected from the cheeky star, he did just that, in the funniest way ever!
Ryan Reynolds started his audio message by joking that: ‘I’m not sure it is a great idea. People, I do not think they want medical advice from guys like me, sir. Unless it is plastic surgery. Which, many people do not know this, but I used to be Hugh Jackman.’
After this memorably playful intro, the actor went on to point out that he is well aware a lot of young people have been partying ‘Which is dangerous. They probably do not know thousands of young people are not just getting sick from coronavirus, that they are also dying from it as well. And of course, it is terrible that it affects the most vulnerable. B.C., that is home to some of the coolest older people on Earth. David Suzuki, he lives there! My mom! She does not want to be cooped up in her apartment all day. She wants to be out there cruising Kitsilano Beach looking for some young 30-something Abercrombie burnout to go full Mrs. Robinson on. She is insatiable.’

His message continued with the celeb stressing that he really hopes these partying youngsters do not ‘kill’ his mother, ‘or David Suzuki, or each other.’
